Ruining our country??? Bullshit, whats ruining our country is the exact same thing you were trying to play superhero for. Let me be more clear, its the spoon-feeding coddling and not holding people accountable for anything anymore thats ruining this country.

Go away.

I understand about the "spoon feeding" but is that a good reason to be an asshole? I don't have a problem with telling the guy to search it but I do have a problem with you being a jerk.

Staying here!

That seems like a lot of work. Could I just drive it off a ledge?

Matt there are a lot of ways post some pic of ideas

The quickest and easiest way to do a spring over, in all seriousness, is to simply flip the axles over. Your drivers side tire now goes on your passenger side, get it? Now your spring perches are on top of the axle and already set for Scout II width. But I'm sure that since you own your own fab shop, and are apparently "Doogie Howser smart" because you passed your math class in 10th grade, you have figured out that your axles will be spinning backwards if you flip them right? Well, if you are the boy genius that you claim to be (and who are we to deny your superior intellect based on your retarded question and 2nd grade spelling and punctuation?), you would know that you simply flip your transfer case and now everything is right in the world again. Oh, and Ken, you're a douche

^^^^ when i did it this way to my scout i had a horrible scraping sound when i made corners

But these guys are right no one here will like you if you post shit like you did with out searching trust me on this one.......

Anyways from what i have gotten from my SEARCHING is cut your spring perches off and either re weld the old ones on top, or order some new ones from ruff stuff. Then you got to figure out somthing for your steering.

And just to let you know your sitting on a 4 inch susp lift, and body lift? why the hell would you need to go any higher? do you wheel this thing? because from my searching a low cog wheeler is better than what ever it is your trying to make. i mean even a mud racer does not lift it this high most time they dont lift at all all they do is cut cut cut.

A guide, or at best, advice, for noobs and their ilk.

Prologue: The IH Pirate Community.

1% ers? in a weird way, sure, why not? No disrespect to the 1%'er MC clubs, in their own way IH Pirates are a brotherhood created from desire do what ever the hell they want to with their own iron. They are the "Bobbers and Choppers" of the IH world. They are pretty much 1% of the IH community when it comes to IH society and fitting in with it. They are a counter culture.

When I meet with MC members there is always one rule that I follow to the letter. Give respect, get respect. End of story. Follow that advice here and you might end up with good advice and good friends instead of looking like a fool while everyone subscribes to your post for a good laugh.

With that being said, you need to think about your post if you have little experience here. The success or failure of your inquiry is in your hands. If you want to avoid a train wreck follow this little guide.

Definitions:

Pirate - IH experts who have taken fabrication to an extreme level on more than one vehicle successfully and garnered years of experience and expertise in operating in this environment. Elite.

Noob
- YOU! mostly clueless, found this site from a google search on "Kick Ass Lifts for my Scouts". You had heard about Pirate through extreme 4x4 or heard your brothers friends talk about it in the other room while you were exploring your puberty in the bathroom. Either way, you decided to click here instead of Binder Planet, Binder Bench, IHOnly North, or some other accredited helpfull site...

Guide:
1.) What you are about to ask has been answered before on one of the user friendly sites. Search there first.

2.) Respect the knowledge and experience here. Until you have earned respect yourself you will be tested and broken. The best advice comes from Animal House, "Thank you sir, may I have another?". Just take it.

On the other hand, if you are thinking about saving the honor of a noob prospect then you should realize that this is a brotherhood. Right or wrong, Pirate guys stick to eachother. They are unified and righteous and not afraid of offending or getting offended. Every conflict they go through together makes em stronger. The more you F with them the more resolved they are as one.

3.) Before you ever post anything you should spend at least 100 hrs reading through old posts on this site. By reading those you will arm yourself with knowledge on how to act here and what you can expect from your actions.

4.) When in conflict with the personal advice and offenses thrown at you here it is helpful to step back and look at it through their eyes. When you do you will see that you truly are totally fucking retarded.

Conclusion:

Give respect, Get respect. It really can't be clearer.
You really shouldn't be posting or asking anything until you have contributed some way to the community. Build up respect by showing your skills in fabricating or wheeling or in your earnest desire to learn from an expert. Learn to take insults and offenses lightly. You should also have at least an 8th grader's concept of grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
