Sounds like quite the adventure! I hope all goes well...if not, there's probably a PBBer near by.
Fixed.

Yeah I saw a movie once about White Castle. Good luck on your adventure, I'm so jealous. Its your duty to us poor slobs stuck at home to take lots of pics and do a trip report when you get back.

Well, this is suckin ass. Having issues loading images. My iPhone 4S wont let me "submit images" through the website. My MAC (OS intel 10.6.8) is having Flash issues and wont let me copy the codes to paste here..... I found a way around all this but it's not the fastest way to do it. I'll do my best guys.

Anyways. See you all in the morning. I talked to Tim and he'll be picking us up around 8am to take us to his house/ranch to meet Big Red.

If any of you get on Pirate tonight, update them for me if you can. It's hard for me to do that. FB is the fastest way for me to update. So far 310 mile and no issues.

Jason Guerin ‎6.6 to the gallon. 21 gallon tank. 139 miles to a tank. 14 total stops for gas."

Sounds like he's having fun so far.
Wish them luck, all you IHers.

You dont need it here but Photobucket requires it on everything! Even to copy the generated code for the images so I can copy and paste the links here.
Flash 10 is required, which I was finally able to load last last night.

We arrived at Tim's house around 9am and were all grins. Amazed with the size of this giant! There is so much room inside.

This is Tim and I. Really great guy. We spent some time doing some finishing touches on the Red Beast. Added some cigarette lighter plugs for some electronics. Added a power inverter to run some fans. Took off the front drive shaft. Went over the whole truck. This thing is bad ass you guys.

We stopped maybe 5 miles from his house. The Heat and Humidity was unbearable! We keep saying "What did we just get our selves into" We grabbed some ice, maybe ate 1/4 of a half of sandwich and drank a butt load of water.

On the road and making our way to Walmart to pick up what we couldnt bring. We topped off the tank so we can do the math at the next stop. Here is my first fill up. Whats cool is that the fill up is in the back middle bumper. Makes it easy to fill up. Note the wet shirt! Ya. It was bad.
http://s1196.photobucket.com/albums/...t=IMG_2260.jpg

So we drove till the needle started gettin close to E. (passed E as we rolled in to the station) Here's what we found out: 6.6 to the gallon. 21 gallon tank. 139 miles to a tank.
Yes it was still hot out! Note my new shirt and the Bathing suit top.

Recorded what 50ish mph sounds like with two glass packs, mud tires and an empty hollow box sounds like. [IMG][/IMG]

So as we neared the boarder South Dakota from Minnesota I looked down at the mileage. Yep was just shy of rolling 13000 while crossing over the boarder. Dont worry, my GoPro camera caught the roll over.

So at some point during the night the girls had the lights on in the cab, looking at stuff, reading, drinking. Problem was that I couldnt see the road. I had Mo take the Helm (she was yelling at me the whole time "Get Back Here" any way, I took out all the bulbs not needed in the front (inside) and grabbed the wheel.

We finally couldnt drive any more and crashed at Super 8 around 3AM in Chamborline South Dakota. We just woke up at 9 am and are going to hit Wall Drug, Mt Rushmore and Devils Tower. We arent any where we planned to stop on our first night here but we are taking it easy. We have driven a total of 403 miles and she is running GREAT! Tires are hot but they ALL feel the same temp. I wish the tires were a bit taller and Im thinking about hacking off the cherry bombs and buying some cheap mufflers and clamps to make the noise bearable inside.

Last stop today is suppose to be Rawlins Wyoming. Lets hope so.

It is a bit difficult for me to get to the laptop in the back and upload images. My phone has trouble with attachments on Pirate so eff it. You can join IH Scouts 4X4 on FB if you want better updates.

What a Tease! Looks like you are having fun but can't the trip report/pic uploading be delegated to someone with lots of time on their hands (passenger) ?

Looks like a great time. I can't wait to see what you do to it after the trip. Maybe add some side windows that open for some fresh air...

Way cool, love the sign on the back. You have the right idea on taking it easy on the old girl. Its better to be a day behind schedule than push her hard til she blows and then have a dead rig on your hands.

Alright guys. I'm wanting to rotate my front tires to the back. They aren't looking to good. Cupping really bad. I'm in Utah 20 miles east of Evanston of the 80. Eventually I'll hit the 15. Tires have plenty of tread but a bit sun baked and bias.*If they want to blow I'd rather have them on the back. And yes they have tubes in them. Tires are 8.25- 20 load E. I have pictures on FB

So I'm looking for help. I've called Big O, TA is a no go, other tire shops are closed. I still need to call Walmart.

Signal is sketchy out here so text me 714.364.7535 with a number or if you think we can do this in a parking lot. I don't have jacks for this or a big enough socket or breaker bar.*

714.364.7535 Jason

Maybe you could find a local firestation like someone said earlier and see if they'd let you use their tools to rotate your tires?

I thought the pics showed 2 different wheels front to back? Standard 8 lug rear and large 5 bolt budd front? Am I seeing things?
