I'm looking to replace the P/S box in my Land Rover, and it uses a pitman arm that faces forward (oposite chey style). I've heard rumor that the Internationals use a box with a forward facing pitman arm. Is this true? Is it a saginaw box? Does the secor shaft drop to to outside of the frame?
All these are features I'm looking for.
Thanks for the info.
Because I changed springs from what I designed the mounts to be.
Went front IH pu springs to 44044's. Different off-sets in the springs and wanted different postions.
Dan:
:flipoff2: :flipoff2: that was an "in progress" shot, so they hadn't been trimmed and naturaly no front shaft yet (besides, its on a fork-lift at that )
fyi, even the original spring postion on those mounts were HIGHER than stock shackle position..... so whats with the "fangs"
oh, and if I remebr right it out flexed your junk :flipoff2:
