thanks much for the quick reply. should I replace the studs with bolts and bolt it up straight? (this is alec's wife...he is greasy, working on the rag joint. his scout is up on a trail -- )
I wouldnt keep it that way, but to get ya home sure. It shouldnt bind on anything but double check. Then get a borgeson replacement instead of another rag joint.
running cliffhanger in moab, right after you cross kane creek, the normal line is far left, I decided to go far right and front dig to skirt the cliff. I nose up no prob, go front dig pick up some wheel speed and BAM fragged the rag joint and took out the drivers side front brake line spotter starts yelling your turning the wrong way
Anyway decided to head back to town chase a replacement and get tools. On the way out fj40's brand new beefy front driveline from Slyco blows a weld :shaking: so we had to rally as far up as we could and winch the rest.
Overall was a great weekend, ran PSM, rose garden hill and kane creek, I'll be heading back to finish cliff hanger
Oh yeah Harkin if you are reading this you were right about the hydro, it is a must have
