Springover Update-cheap parts for sale
Well my springover project got held up due to the brand new turbo 400 taking a dive. The shop said they'd fix it for free but I guess free work is last priority because they've had it a couple of months now. Anyway I have a complete running 1978 3/4 ton chevy that is beat to hell. It has a 205 sm465, 350 cid combo with 14 bolt rear and hd 44 front with 4.56 gears. I bought it to use the axles for my springover but I have just aquired a frame with d60 front and 14 bolt rear. 3.73 gears. Anyway I guess the chevy needs a home. 700 bucks and you could drive it home. I'm in southern Idaho. I have the flat top drilled and tapped for the passenger side. Is it harder to do hi steer on a 60? I've done tons of research on the 44 but nothing on the 60. Any advice would be great.
