Wondering if anyone that has upgraded their breaks would like to get rid of the stock stuff for cheap. talking about a 62 scout 80 or anything that works with the 80.
I'm thinking about modifying some rear d44 drum brakes to fit on a front d27. Then you can have my stock d27 stuff. One new cylinder, one rebuilt. needs shoes.
I dont have 27's but I have a set of 44 drums with new pads. I put less than 100 mi on them when i got my rear discs. I dont know how they go back together but I saved all the pieces.

I've already got the drums and backing plates, loaded and ready to go. I just have to pull the d27 brakes off one side and see if the 44 brakes will fit. Hopefully it won't take more than drilling new mounting holes.
