I went to the Tera Mfg web site and see the auto tranny version, but that was all I saw for Scouts? Is the Bronco version the same as I need? I have the older twin stick D20 from my 800.
I guess I need to call Tera and see if I am having a stupid moment, or what?
OK..Thanks for the input, Snoop, but why does Tera Low not know what a D20low-SC is?
Sorry to be a pain about this, but I need to make sure I get the right thing. If there is no listing for a Scout with the manual app, is it the Jeep d20 gears or the Bronco low gears I Need? I am thinking Jeep is a closer match since the original gears are the same ratio as the Scout...2.03 Jeep vs 2.47 bronco.
I still find it weird that Tera does not have the answer for me. I don't think that they get into Scouts much or I just have not talked to the right person???
When I ordered mine from Mile High Jeep Rebuilders, I just told them I was building a scout with a four speed and a dana 20. I'm pretty sure it was the jeep kit they sent me. Everything seems to have fit. I know the gasket set I purchased (then didn't need) was the same on as the Jeep dana 20.
There is a small chance I still have the package and slips. If I find them this weekend, I'll let you know.
Dude, you don't know the half of it. Rusty earned his name without any problems.
Put it this way, I thought I developed a knock while wheeling last saturday ~ turns out that the body shifted on the frame enough for the fan to tap the shroud. It happens when I turn a sharp corner too.
:shaking: :shaking:
