If you're going with the 36's I would use a chevy 44 front with F150 Hubs and rotors. Keeps the diff on the same side as scout 44 and with F150 hubs and rotors matches 5x5.5 rear lug pattern.
If you're going 38's or 40's ditch the 9" rear and get some 60's
i disagree... i bought the Dodge front, and they are a little bigger pain than they are worth. This is because to make it have 35 spl outers, you either need to buy chevy hubs, which are big $$, or have the stock drive flanges broached out to 35 spl. This is possible for sure, but kind of a pain, and doens't give you the option of unlocking your hubs, if you are into that sort of thing. That being said, i would assume you would say 'use the dodge' cause the spring pads are 'closer' to scout width, but if you are throwing a 60 under the front of your truck you should be able to figure out how to move your springs out a little bit anyhow.
If i did it again, i would start with a chevy 60, assuming of course your are keeping a pass. side drop T-case.
for us junk foraging cheap bastards, will hubs and rotors from a 85 or so bronco work? are the bearings the same or is there certain ones to use? haven't seen any specific info on this. thanks.

Ok, here's a question since we have part numbers and prices that aren't outrageous.
1) Can you use a Chevy spindle (one from a 1/2 ton 6-lug truck)?
2) What wheel bearings are needed (I have to assume these are required)
3) What lock-outs are needed?
4) Can the stock chevy calliper bracket be used with the new calipers and rotors?
