First, I need a measurement from the FRONT of the wheel hump (in the bed) to the rear of the bed. (Stock Scout bed, no bob'd beds please).
Second, can I get some measurements between the top of the axle tube and the bottom of the frame rail (please state the type and amount of lift is ~ i.e. "SOA on 2" lift").
This is for Rusty? I measure 14 rear, 13 front. This is SOA with an extra main leaf and 3/8 spacer in rear. Front is plain SOA. On the Scout 80, I measure 12 rear, 11 front. SOA, no extra leaves that I know of.
Yup I started putting in tube ~ got the main cab bar (horizontal hoop) in and started the boat side bars. But it looks too long and so I want to confirm some measurements.
Okey dokey, I went back and remeasured since it is day and not raining.
Here is what I have.
Rear frame to axle, 14 on one side and 14-1/4 on the other.
Rear frame to ground, 31-1/4 on one side and 31-1/2 on the other.
Measured right behind the axle next to the bumpstop.
Front frame to axle 13 on oe side, 13-3/8 on the other.
Front frame to ground, 30-1/2 one side, 30 even on the other.
Measured right in front of the axle between the bumpstop and brake bracket.
Tunnel cover to rear of bed, 94 even.
Front of wheel well to rear of bed, 52-1/2.
From the step behind the front seats to rear of bed, 60-3/4.
Rear springs have 6 leaves. It appears the PO put extra main leaves in.
Front springs have 6 leaves. I don't believe there are any extra leaves.
EXCELLENT! So from the trans cover to the step is roughly 34.750 inches, My hoop extends 42". The tube coming off it is 35" long which means that Rusty's Cab/bed area is going to be at least 12" shorter than a Scout II ~ and the bottom of the bed will be 18" shorter. :smokin: :smokin:
Thanks man I really appreicate those!
