I got some new Warn hubs for my 78 Scout and they don't click into 4x4 like the old ones did. But if I do turn them to 4x4 and roll a bit they cilck in and out of 4x4 just fine. Then when I unlock them and drive, they don't click in anymore. I climbed a few obstacles and they seemed to be fine. Should I be concerned with this?
did you put a lot of really heavy sticky grease inside the hubs when assembling? the dumbass that put grease in mine used some shit that is about the consistency of soft clay, and my hubs were always a bitch to work.
Because of the spring inside that actually lock the hubs I don't always hear or feel mine clicking in or out, but they do. I wouldn't worry.
