Update.I haven't touched it months. I've been busy with a new job and a kitchen re-model and hottie GF!

The good news is that the new job has much bigger pay checks and I picked up a chebby D60-F tonight!

So does this mean a kinder gentler OS and no more "Proud member of the ignored by OS club" tags?

With a hottie GF you haven't had a NEED to "touch it" in months!

Glad things are coming up roses again after some of the setbacks you've had. I take it you picked up that Chebby housing in SoCal? SCORE!!!

I hadn't checked this thread before until a couple of days ago and it was fun to check out. I like the detail you're putting into this thing, it makes it go by 10X slower but it shows...

Anyway, get back to work on this thing!

digging it up from the past...i have been without a scout for a while, so i try to stay away from this section or else i will get jealous and try to use money that i don't have to buy a scout. But Brandon brought up the noobie thing about posting your builds if you have questions, so i went and looked at past builds from the big names of the IH section to feed my addiction.

And i just have to say OS your scout rocks. Has there been any progress as of late?

No... He'll have plenty of excuses though.

If he was motivated he could easilly have this done for the Rubicon Run.

I could go out to his place load his rig on my trailer and bring it to my place, have the Dys Crew over, bend the cage, finish the crazycool stuff OS has left to do, BBQ, then go wheelin.

Life got in the away again.
But I have no excuses any longer. I'm now in charge of a 88k sq ft shop with every tool you would ever need to build a truck.

I'm seeing a pattern forming with your choice of parts color OS...Of course Crane's knuckles are close to Electric Lime! You're following the "it's not worth doing unless it's done right!" philosophy. That makes for an AWESOME rig in the end. Unfortunately, unless you have cubic dollars and time to throw at the build it takes forever...

I try to follow the same philosophy, but run out of $$$ and patience. I also tend to get distracted...

In any case, you're making forward progress. Are you gonna wheel it with the 345, or are you gonna do the Mopar swap before the rig is 'done right'? Let me know when you decide to divest yourself of the boat anchor, as I may take it off your hands!

You will need to change your screen name!

Yes at some point in time I will be selling my hopped up 345. It will come with all the oiling mods/ oil cooler/remote filter and a set of Stan's Tri Ys. The only piece it will be missing is a alternator. You can flog before you buy.
