how much space do you have between the floor board and the 205, as well as the "cut out" in the floor underneath where the floor goes vertical into the back seat area? shoot, nevermind, I just realized I was looking at chris' pics. Im a little slow.
just to give you an idea, this is finished height

That's a great pic, helps a lot. I was going to try and set up a card board template to determine the rotation.

sorry, I have been whoring out the shop for a little scout money. A 50' chevy low rider, but its cool his money is green Prior to that was the badass tube fenders, or fender cages for rockthedog. So the war pony has been left in a corner of the shop. An area I call "51", no hard work ,just lots of thinking.

Just make up your mind on fenders, so we can build them and I will have another excuse for not working on my rig.

Seriously...you'd rather build fenders for my junk than finish yours. You need a psychiatrist. I'm looking forward to WarPony's first scratch already.

OK today I ordered the adapter for the doubler, I went with ORD 2" up rotation and triple shifters. So now I can make some more forward progress.

Well I took the np203 apart , down to the case just to check it out. I have done some searching but have not found what I am looking for. first : what kind of gorilla snot grease do you guys prefer for putting the bearings back in. lithium, red general purpose ? And can anyone see in the pics the ware on the edge of the input gear and the clutch? Is this too much ware?

The pic's kinda blurry, but I think you might need to find another 203. What input you need? I swapped a Ford 31 spline input into mine, so I have a 27 spline input gear for a Chevy 203 left over. $50 and it's yours. You shift collar looks like it might be ok.

I just used whatever grease was in my grease gun, waterproof green grease. You want something that is thick enough to hold the needle bearings in. Some guys use vaseline. I just got mine doubler put together this past weekend.

petroleum jelly. sticky as hell, but breaks down and dissolves easily into the gear lube.

Thanks mechanos, seems that the petroleum jelly is the winner. I Did not think that was the way to go, but I guess it is.
