Good ol Pirate.

Whats your intent, I'm assuming SOA, so your going to be replacing the axles with better units.

SII springs work well, Waggy springs work well, Rancho 44044's work well, SEARCHING works well

Your going to need/want PS, so read up on that.

Bushings, steering, brakes (power or non)... all the fun stuff that comes with a pre 70's wheeling rig. Welcome to the dark side, be prepared to scrounge, invent, pay a little more, fabricate and design. And then still be looked at funny and laughed at by your friends.

then you cant afford to wheel a scout...

just three link it until you save enough to do the 4th link (i'm still saving for my 4th)...that being said, QA-1 makes a decent spring:

Just grab your tape measure and get your ass to the junkyard . Find a couple sets of 2.5" wide springs and start playing with packs is the only cheap route.
