I sold my Scout a few months ago, but I've still got a ton of spares somebody can use.

Here's a partial list...
Scout II Factory Service Manuals, both volumes
Scout II V8 Fan Shroud, uncracked
Scout II Factory Step Bumper
Scout II Door glass x2
Scout II vent window glass x2
Scout II V8 factory air cleaner
Scout II factory 345 exhaust manifolds
Scout II factory oil pan
Scout II factory gauges, 2 full sets + extras
Scout II factory wiring harness
Scout II factory metal door panels
Scout II factory center console without lid
Scout II factory axle parts, tie rods, drive shafts, etc.
Scout II wheels studs and lug nuts
A bunch of factory bolts, badges, brake parts, glove box door, etc.
Non-factory Scout II spare wheel
Non factory center console
Non factory bucket seats, great shape in khaki, unsure what they were in originally but good for a rig needing some seats.
Big plastic box for the back of your rig with hi lift jack, shovel, and axe mounted. This fits great in the back of a Scout II and can hold all your recovery/emergency gear/parts stash.
Tow bar with ball hitch (mounts on front bumper)

I'm sure there's more stuff than this.

I really need all this stuff out of my garage. It's taking up a ton of space I need for my current project and I'm out of the Scout game. I am in Concord, NC. Shipping for all this big stuff is probably cost prohibitive. I'd rather sell it to a local. You can have everything for $450. The fan shroud, bumper, & service manuals are almost worth that alone. Come and get it. I can also deliver to the Charlotte, NC Autofair this coming weekend.

Email is the best way to get a hold of me. You can email me at terdferguson13@gmail.com . Thanks for looking and thanks for this great forum.

***EDITED TO ADD***
I also have a clean and clear NC title for a '79 Scout II in my name I got with a parts rig, but no VIN plate. This goes with all the other stuff.

Stroke your motor (258)

What I have for sale is a large collection of mostly new parts to rebuild a IH 258 motor and make it a much better motor.
HO 4.0 head new (head has had the jacket welded and remachined for IH use)The head (0630) is for all '96-'99 4.0's and is the same as the '91-'95 HO (7120) head less a provision for the temp sensor at the rear of the head.
It is a desirable head.
new 4.0 HO cam
new water pump high flow and aluminum
.60 pistons new
offy 2bbl intake used but looks new (sandblasted and CLEAN!)
jeep direct port injection setup (plenum, jets ect) no computer
gaskets for the top end new
cam berings new
2 valve covers one steel, one aluminum
borla exhaust stainless steel
there may be other parts like rings or rods I dont recall. (I can go look and update in the next few days)

This is quite a collection of parts. Everything to rebuild your 258 into what it always wanted to be. I am selling as I have decided to change out motors and go in a different direction. Feel free to email or call. 970-292-8595 Dan

Just so you know its a good deal, the head(you cant get a 4.0 HO unless its used now only 4.0 heads) the guy on Ebay selling them is charging 500.00. The Borla header is 350.00 guys, this is a great deal! I am open to considering trades as well.

Thanks for having this thread!!
My Scout is long gone, but the tank and hitch are in my way.
The Tank is this one...except already dented on the bottom. No visible cracks, I'd put it in my rig and fill it with fuel without a second thought.

http://scoutparts.com/products/?view...oduct_id=10450

$200 obo. I don't wanna ship it.

I also found a factory made 2" receiver hitch for the same...$50 obo. Don't wanna ship it either.

I don't check here often, so please email me at markspread@kalama.com if interested. I can email pics. Would consider things that go bang or dirt bikes in trade.

Mark

There's a 76 Scout Traveler near me for sale. Its got the 727, 345, and d44's I believe. The price is 1700%, I don't know if he'd go any lower, but I thought I'd throw it up.

Superior CrMo front axle's for Scout II Dana 44. All are still in the box never installed. Bought em before upgrading to a front 609. CTM U-joints for Dana 44, new, never installed, only taken out of the box for this picture.

Asking $650 for the axles, $350 for the CTM's. That's about a $150 savings depending on where you buy. I'm willing to cover standard postage for any of these items.

Exclamation 727 Auto Tranny and Dana 20 transfer

I have a 727 automatic with bellhousing, torque converter, bell housing, and dana 20 attached to it. All you need to convert from a Manual to Automatic swap. Transmission only has 53,000 miles on it and runs like a champ. Bolted up to a 304. $150 I want it out of my yard! Located in MD near Baltimore.

I am looking for a 4 speed manual transmission. Have one? E-mail me... I only need the transmission, but if you have more let me know anyway.

Thanks,

Karl
