I am told it is a dana 300 transfer case, which I have not yet confirmed. I am also told by the PO that the scout runs and drives or at least HAS. No radiator or gas tank to confirm, and the shifter is rusted in neutral. (I figured out you have to pull the lever up on the shifter, shifts fine... duh) I don't have any other information at this time. The scout will be available until Saturday Sept, 12th at the latest. I am also pulling the transfer case (if it is a dana 300) which will be for sale until it's gone or used on another project. If it turns out to be a dana 20, it will go with the rest of the scout on Saturday. All offers are welcome, cause you know I wont get shit at the scrap yard!

EDIT:
it is a dana 20 transfer case, go figure! Pulled the axles and steering column. Everything else is available.

You bought this from Jimmy didnt you? I went over there 2 days after you pickes up to get it for the axles. lol. You beat me.

IHC BC176 all wheel drive for sale

I have my beloved truck for sale... sad but it must find a new home rather than sitting here.

EDIT: Jan 2010 - price reduction, $15,500 still looking for trades as well.

Copy of the CL ad:

http://maine.craigslist.org/cto/1531696158.html

Located on coastal Maine, I can probably assist with delivery anywhere.

She is a 1961 All Wheel Drive X-Fire truck. 8K original miles and CLEAN and solid. Words can not describe the truck.

I am asking $22K --REDUCED, $15,500 - but winter is coming and I'd rather not store it in my shop this winter as i have paying customers that would rather have the space! ANY at all reasonable offer even slightly insulting will be considered. I will also trade for Land Rover Defender, either NAS 94-97 or older imported 90 ('83-'84 or so) and a little cash unless the Rover is VERY nice.

I'd take *part trades for a nice CLEAN short wheel base Range Rover County/Classic (RRC) - Clean Hunter edition would be ideal. Part trade for a really well built Disco 1 maybe? Other interesting trucks or classic cars, 4x4 small/mid size tractor with loader and hoe - Try me.

Email is best as i don't lurk here too much: doug (at) desertboat (dot) com

Thanks so much,
Doug

1963 Scout 80

Needed Full cab for Scout 80, have half (truck) cab in excellent shape if needed. I am a Albertan so something close to the western borders or in Canada would be excellent.
Also info if anyone has installed a Cummins 4BT in a scout 80 I could use some help or info about fit before I purchase the motor.
Thanks.

I'm looking to borrow a trailer to tow my rig down to Las Vegas, Nv.
I can hook it up to my buddy's rig and have him bring it back, or you can hook it to your rig and drive. If that's the case, I'll pay for fuel and some money for your time. If you can do this, give me a hollar and we can work the details out.
