1973 Scout II at Sacramento PNP

I was at Pick and pull in Sacramento (Rancho Cordova Location) and saw a 1972-73 Scout II. Top is on the ground with all glass. I don't think anyone has touched under the hood since it is hard to open. (bring a pry bar)

I got a 700R4 to a NP231 to a D300 combo (with D.D. Machine adapter). Was going to use it in a truggy, then the new buggy but didn't fit like I wanted so I'm doing something different.

I want to keep the D300, but will take a trade for a "loose" D300 so I/we don't have to break it all apart.

$900 or offer for the tranny/doubler and adapter. Or tempt me with an offer on the whole thing as it sits. Includes the original factory shifter for the 231 bolted to the tranny (one less thing to have to rig). IIRC the tranny and 231 came from a Blazer, bolted right up to my 350 without issues. Includes Converter.

Will ship, but it will be on buyers dime. If your serious, and want a ship quote I'll see what I can come up with. I got a pretty good hook up on truck freight, but I'll have to drain everything and palletize/crate it.

Take Pay-Pal, but if your paying via CC through pay-pal, add 3% for the CC fees.

I also got a 2.72:1 Klune V (Goliath) that I picked up to replace the 231 doubler but am going with a 4:1 version now instead.

No known issues, I got it from a local wheeler/buddy that was parting out his (running) rig.

Includes what should be a TH350 adapter in the front, should work for a 700r4 as well. Can go on anything that takes a "round 6-bolt" t-case and with the correct spline input (same input as an NP231, 241 etc). Had a NP205 on the back so the rear adapter should be correct for a round 205 with 32-spline input. Different adapters can still be gotten from High-Impact (manufacturer/distributor).

No shifter but one could be made pretty easy or you can buy a cable or direct shifter from the manufacture.

I'd like $850. That's what I paid for it. I'll ship, I'll have to figure out a "shipped" price. I'll try to get a picture this evening.

I have a set of new brake pads RRD92 by Raybestos for $20.
I'm also going to finally have time (unless my mom passes on. She's been in the hospital with complications from cancer) to finish parting out the '66 Travelall I posted a while back (back in Jan!)

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showp...&postcount=115

'71 Loadstar 1800 with tilt bed. 345 (plan was to pull it to swap in a 6.9 or 7.3), 5 speed Clark (I was told), 2 or 3 speed rear axle hydraulic bed.
$1,000 complete with title (cost me $800 to have it towed home before I could get it running) Needs brake work
OR
Part it out. Engine is low miles and I can put it in the '68 Travelall of BMax's, which will leave the rest for sale (I'd drive it down from the mountains before pulling the motor as it's being loaded with all my scrap metal this week that I'm off)

other options (see below)

Also
I have a 304 with BW auto that can be swapped in (from a '66 Travelall), but I'll need the mounts and stuff from the 304 to complete the 345 changeover into the '68 Trav.

Also have a BG241 currently in the '68 Travelall with 4 speed and remote tcase. (still sitting in the '68 until I know what swap I'm doing) Price in the other ad I think.

'66 Travelall C-liner 2WD is being stripped for parts. Manual steering (don't think the box is any good and neither is the one on the '68 which is why it is currently parked to get a full size Bronco box installed) manual brakes. BW auto on the column. Axle is same pattern as XJ but with 2 piece shafts. Floor was so rotten State Patrol pulled it off the road, but the upper part of the body is excellent except the tailgate (rotted on the bottom)
