Question EZ Locker Install Q's

Has anyone that has installed an EZ Locker in a SII Dana 44 tell me if I will need to pull the carrier in the front axle with 3.54s to install the locker, or is there enough clearance to do the job. Second Q, are the two small spacers (small caps) used, and if so how do they fit in.

Thanks Joe

You may be able to do it with out pulling the carrier with the 3.54's. I had to pull my carrier out and take the ring gear off with my 4.56's do to a wider ring, it's alot eaiser to do it with the carrier out though. And you will need to use the 2 caps i don't know what they do, but you need them. And you will have the axle shafts out so it's not to much more work to just pull the carrier out then you can inspect the carrier bearings and wear on the ring better. Hope this helps
