I am doing a spring over in the front of a 77 scout w/the stalk D44 i was wandering if any body knows if the diff is cast iron or cast steele. Is there any special way this needs to be done. Thanks for your input <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Nodular cast iron.

There was a thread in the LC forum about welding mild steel to nodular a while back..
