I have three friends who signed up for Fun in the Desert. They all drive scouts. I'm going to do my best to make it down, I REALLY miss that place, sometimes I even wonder why I moved up here.

I believe it's the first weekend of October.

It used to be held on Columbus Day weekend, it may still be, I dunno, I have not been on that run since FITD III

Did you want to go during the event or with just a bunch of Scouts on a regular wheeling day?

There web site says it the 10th thru 13th Means dry lake, Johnson Valley. If you want to make a good run try Frostober Fest II, its going to be held on the 13th and 14th at the Hammers.

I spoke to Paul today. The count is up to 5-6 scouts for sledgehammer at FITD the weekend of Oct 6-7. If you want to get in touch with Paul to get more info, email me for his phone number.

Dingo, I dont think so? I have not been out with the "club" much. I did make a the club run up on the adopt a trail back in January, that was my last time out. Made a few trips out to anza borrego area before that, during the holidays. Did hdr and cc5 before that in y2k. Maybe there?
FYI i just gutted a t19 wide box this weekend, Fun!
