How many?? Complete? Working condition? And *SIXTIES* - not the often lied-about D44 front end "Oh yeah, it's out of a one-ton"..

Thought I'd scored a 60/14-bolt for $400 until I found out it was a 44/14-bolt.. nahhh..

Now that I've got you guys all excited......
here's the details.

The first guy has "Many 4x4's" but he "doesn't even know what a Dana is"

BUT...He said whatever front axle I chose = $200.00

Another place DID know what a Dana 60 was and he said he has one out of a chevy with unknown Gear ratio......$275.00

However I'm afraid this might be the ever elusive 3/4ton D60 (D44) cause he said "Are you looking for the 3/4ton D60 or the 1/2ton D60" <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> "I said how about the 1-ton D60" "He said yeah I got one of those too" I thought this one was worth taking a look at anyway. He might just be a confused hick; cause I KNOW he know's what a D60 is. I've talked to him about them before.

I'm planning on working on my fender this saturday, but if I can get it done in time I'm gonna go check to be [/b]FO-SHO[/b]at both places..

If I can score any extra's who want's one and what can be arranged for shipping.

I'll drive one as far as Denver for the price of gas and food (or maybe some beer to celerate the SCORE!!!) I'd like to know ahead of time so I can find some extra's.

Of course, at these prices I'll be getting at least two for myself... and then it's grabby grabby for ya'll within reach...

Cliff,

Put me down for one D60 open knuck front.

That makes me 6th in line for the 8th available D60 axle. (sounds weird...hoping someone has 8 Dana 60 fronts) <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/blush2.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/question.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/nuke.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smokin.gif" border="0">

CHA-CHING....that automatically makes you first on my list.

I'll find out the availability (if any) and then let you know and we can hook up with the info.

I'll find out, not this weekend but, NEXT weekend FOR SURE!!!!

I don't know if there's enough D60s in the world let alone in one junkyard but if you should get this far down the want list I'll take one. I'll either drive up or give you enough cash to make Forward Air worth your time.
