I have found a 60 something IH 3/4 ton 4WD truck that I can buy for parts. it has a divorced T-case that I think is a NP205 what other t-case could this be? or can I be sure that it is a 205?
What is the low range ratio of a 205? the motor is gone but it appears to have a Ford automatic tranny. it looks to have a IHC rear axle and a closed knuckle dana 44 up front. any input would be appreciated.

60's what????
The 205 came after the 202. The 202 came after the 200,201. Did you find the line setting ticket in the glove box? The TC-140 appears to be a pre 1960's model, and could be either a model 200, or 201 The part number for the TC-140 transfer case assembly 148970R91 is replaced by 227639R91 which is the assembly number for the TC-141, NP 202 transfer case. TC-141, CODE 13141 = NEW PROCESS MODEL 202 TC-142, CODE 13142 = NEW PROCESS MODEL 205

I think they used some Rockwell 'cases in that era, too. Transmission is probably the B/W with a removeble bellhousing. Very similar to a Ford FMX IIRC.
