Post Daily Topic Calendar

I’ve rearranged the topic list and added descriptions to reflect the new three times a week daily topic. Please reply with additional topics for the daily topic and I'll add them to the list.

What do you want to talk about IH or 4x4 related?

MON 11/26 – Designing Steel: Let’s see your designs for bumpers, tire carriers, sliders, and cages. Do you need DOM?

WED 11/28 - Manual vs. Auto: The age-old debate.

FRI 11/30 - Fiberglass vs. Steel: Is it better for street, wheeling, or rust prevention.

MON 12/03 - Cheap Tricks: Cool stuff for under 25 bucks.

WED 12/05 - Fuel Delivery: Electric pump, or mechanical, fuel cell or stock. Is 19 gallons enough or step up to 30. Tank repair ideas.

FRI 12/07 – Electrical: New gauges, electrical upgrades, bulkhead connectors, etc.

MON 12/10 – Wheeling IH’s: How do you pack for the trip and where do you go. Share your favorite spots or secret spots.

Past Topics

MON 11/19 – Tire selection: Swampers, BFG’s, Goodyear, what’s it going to be, how big do I really need.

WED 11/21 – Steering: Z-link or Crossover steering, Hi-Steering what you gonna do. Beefy links; DOM or stock. Heims or TRE’s.

MON 11/12 – Axle Q and A: What do you run, what do you want, locker, spool, ARB, etc.. Is a 44 enough or it’s gotta be a 60. Are 14 bolts misunderstood? What axles swap onto my rig.

WED 11/14 – Other Makes: Do you avoid them or wheel with them? Do you sell parts to the Heep crowd. No you can’t have my PS box. How do you deal with the other guys.

FRI 11/16 – Wheelbase: The 100” myth and why did it take the Heep crowd so long to figure it out. Is 118” too much or better then a 100”

MON 11/05 - Scout Spotting
TUE 11/06 - Build a Beefy IH or swap it out
WED 11/07 - Best IH Motor offered
THR 11/08 - IH vs. Chebby vs Mopar vs Ford vs Cadillac
FRI 11/09 - Best T-case

MON 10/29 - Fuel Injection or Carb
TUE 10/30 - 80/800 vs. II
WED 10/31 - How many are too many
THR 11/01 - Winch mounting
FRI 11/02 - Restore or Modify

258 vs 304 vs 345

392 vs Chebby vs Mopar vs Ford.

Build a Beefy IH or swap it out.

D300 vs D20

Rear 60 SF or FF

Is cool to sell your extra Scout stuff to Jeepers for more than any scout guy would pay?

How about: Haul all your Heep buddy's $hit or make them stack it on their rubicon rack so they tip over and you are stuck helping them <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

How about: "have we run out of daily topic ideas"
"has the daily topic run its course"
or "should we postpone daily topics until someone comes up with something new or just re-hash what everyone is posting about anyway"
or "does jdjanda reply to every single post whether he has anything to say or not "................................................. ..............

or how about one to find out what all of the IH guys, and gals do for a living. A little people info for a change.

I just figured that it would be all the motor I would ever need and it's still stock and reliable ('95 TBI). This way I'll be able to stick with the 4.10's in the axles and still turn the 39's or whatever I go to next. It should also make for some awsome snow rompin (and probably parts breakage ). It also keeps my wieght distribution at almost perfectly 50/50.

Why, are you scared??

ROFL. Or, watch them have a custom rack made for the rear that blocks all view out the rear view window, so they can take their family camping in the cool spots.

I won't haul it for them. Heck, my wife fills up my scout. I think I am going to have to have a rack made as it is!!!

Futon mattress takes up a LOT of room!!!!!

OTOH, the nice soft comfy sleeping arrangement sure puts her in a good mood when camping......
