Ive found a ford front d60 in a junk yard just all tucked away waiting for me to jump on it. Its missing the calipers & the hubs. Its really only got the caliper brackets & spindle(rusty). Any comments on how I should go about it. What are my options. Ill definitely need a retube, but how much. Can I use the chevy version of the outers & keep what exisitng parts if any. I want to pounce on it ASAP.

I would jump on it if it's a good deal. Yes you can use chevy outers from what I know. read how to retube here: retubbing a D44 (insert D60 where necessary) and here: more axle tube removal info
Good luck !!! |
