My drivers side rear was pretty bashed up and in, so I scored an entire new rear quarter panel including the tail light end for $75. I was pretty stoked.
I ordered my new suspension bushings. Now just some new shocks and other SMALL misc. stuff and I'll be on the road. (not trail ready yet, not like there's trails here in NE anyway <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> ) |

I hacked off the old fender this evening. MAN a sawzall sure makes short work of sheet metal <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
I'll probably have the new one on by next weekend. This is the first time I've ever replaced a whole fender so I wanna do a halfway decent job, even though it is mostly gonna be a trail rig, I'd like it to look nice when I do drive it around town |

$75.00 for a new 1/4 and the cap end is a steal, nice job. Replacing 1/4's on scout 2's are cake i have done a few of them over the years. Just drill out the spot welds remove it and install the new ones with spot welds and your in business.

The reason for that is the "NEW" fender is only in better condition than my origional on it's rear half, and my front half is better. So to me it makes more sense to GRAPH-IN the section that I want. I'll post pics when I'm done and then one when it's painted and you can actually see how my body work is. |

Cliffhanger, looking good, make sure when you craft them together use small welds and let them cool so you don't get any warpege. And invest in a long board sander they are worth there weight in gold to get a body smooth
