i am going to buying a half dozen scouts and parting them out if anyone is interested email me with requests and I can check on availability. Bodys/body parts are pretty shot, there might be a couple of good hard tops/glass, d-shafts, tcases tranny's. I won't be able to guarantee these work but I will be selling for junk prices plus shipping. The owner needs these gone so I am trying to set up potential buyers for the worthy parts.
If anyone could email me or post here w/pics of what types of trannies/t-cases/differentials, etc... so I can see what is there that would be a huge help as I am new to the Scout market, but I don't want to see these go to the crusher! Thanx, Ken |

I am talking like $50 bucks for trannies or t-cases. I am not looking to get rich, just want to make it worth my while to strip them down. Ya know what I mean? I am just looking for pics of parts so I don't misinform people. The rear ends I know what they are worth. Maybe $20 a driveshaft. Stuff like that.

I am going up this weekend and will check them out to see if they are good. Do you need the shaft down to the box also? Email me at kperryjr@mediaone.net I will reply back here probably saturday or sunday with more info regarding when they will be stripped down.
Thanx, Ken |

Yep I need the 2 piece column down to the box. The pre 68s should have a 1 piece column down to the box which is what I have. Let me know what you got. Thanks
Travis

Ok, I just got back and sorry guys/gals there is not a one with power steering.
Next on the list was the steering columns: I have 6 one piece and one two piece, which may become available (the owner didn't want to part with his plow rig, but it wouldn't start for him so that will probably be thrown in). I have 3 with the V-8/manual tranny/D20 xcase? with duel shifters. I also have 4 of the above combo but with 4 bangers. Which means I have bellhousings, heads, manifolds, cores on starters/alts, etc... The rears are D44s and fronts I believe are D27s/30s all of which are complete. Also have the d-shafts. I might be able to scrape up a few body panels (mostly rotted away) a lot of good glass, a couple of hard tops, etc... I might be able to come up with some frames if you are willing to pay shipping or pickup. Keep emailing me with requests before I strip them of what is selling and junk rest. I have no room to store these. Thanx, Ken |

The owner doesn't have any titles for these but I would be willing to part with the firewall plates strictly for historical purposes, of course, if that helps anyone out!

Sweet, how much do you want for the two piece column and roughly how long before you pull it should it become availible? Also do you happen to have any red tail light lenses? Mine are pink from the AZ sun. Any of the small front turn signal assemblies? How about interior door handles and window cranks? Any good tailgates? I doubt it since even the AZ ones are rotten. Any gas tank filler tubes? Finally how about an excellent chrome front bumper? That's all I can think of right now. Thanks

LOL, I just printed out a list of your stuff so when I go up next weekend I can take a good look at that stuff. I will let you decide what a fair price is for the column. Everything will be stripped in about 2 weeks or so. Small stuff like the column may be available if I don't go the "Great American Jeep Festival" next weekend, which it is looking like I will be stripping Scouts. I will let you know when it is out.

Cool man keep me posted, that column is the last big piece I need for my rock Scout. Once you let me know what other parts on my wish list you have we can haggle out a fair deal for the whole lot. Thanks

Overkiller, my dad took a look at some of the parts you were wondering about and said we should be able to scrape up some red taillights, turn signals, etc... On the tailgate subject he said we have a good one but it has some dents in it, he didn't say how bad(i believe they are just little dings) but I didn't know if you were looking for a solid one or a perfect one. I will let you know this weekend what it looks, maybe even take a pic.

I have some new inventoried parts for the Scouts:
-3 rear seats in half decent shape -1 dash pad -several red taillight lenses with some housings -I have a set of back up lights with the glass lenses in good shape -1 Straight front bumper, C style, chrome is flaking off and some scale rust on it, but nothing thru -I also have what looks like a stock brush guard that bolts to C style bumper, kinda looks bad arse! -I have bucket seats, bases, etc... -Motor parts for 304s and 152s Many more parts email with needs. At your leisure I'd like to get some pics of the tailgate, taillights, and front bumper. No rush I'm not in a big hurry. You can email me direct at Travis51@aol.com or just post stuff here.
