trail scout
I recently got hooked to trail wheeling and am looking to build my own rig. I always go out with guys with cherokees or cjs and im the type who dont like to run what everyone else has. How would you compare the scouts to these types of jeeps? And what would to the best model for narrow trails the jeeps i ride in are stock running gear and some of the trails are almost to tight for them. Any feed back will be helpful.

1. Scouts are better than Jeeps.
2. Search NEWB. 3. Go play in traffic.

Im not at all saying jeeps are better than scouts. I was just trying to give you guys a idea of how tight the trails are fuck jeeps i dont want one, I just have to ride bitch in them cause thats all that people have around here and ive been all about mud racing for years and my full size wont cut it. I just wanted to know what model of scout you thought would be best scout2, 800a, 80, im not here piss people off or be a internet tough guy just want advice.

Yea try Binder Planet.
Think about this though. If you are just now getting into crawling, don't you think you'll want the crew you ride with to have simliar set ups as you so that you can share spare parts? I love Scouts, but a Jeep isn't a bad thing. It's about wheeling, not brand loyalty IMO.

Just put some Ninja bars on what ever you build, as it sounds like you have a lot of trees. This way you can just rub and not worry. I'm full width and the trails here are wide enough.
