1994 Rodeo Lift Q's
First off I apologize for a lame question in your forum however I'm new to Isuzu ownership. I've been reading these forums and others hoping to get a consistent answer but haven't. My question is for now, I simply want to do enough lift to clear 31 inch tires. I only plan to moderately wheel it on light trails and such, no major stuff yet. I've read to use lift shackles in the rear, and cranking the torsion bars in the front. Some say it's bad, others say go for it. With having a 94, do I need to add in the ball joint spacers such as those from Independent or would I be fine. Also will the shackle lift affect anything to do with the rear drive line or shocks......thanks in advance for any assistance.....

You'll be ok with just a small shackle or add a leaf and cranking the torsion bars. You are only fitting 31's and maxing them out like people do with 33's. Ball joint spacer isn't needed, but you may be able to do a ball joint flip to fix the problem if there is one. Other than that your set, get to it.

You can run 31x10.50 on stock rims no worries, 34.10.5 with alittle trimming fits on 8in rims...not real street freindly tho
What gets you is the width and then hacking of the fenders
