Another Annoying 2nd Gen Rodeo 44 issue

I have a Rodeo 44 in my TJ. It came from a 98 2wd 4 cly, and thus is 4.56
I know It is second Gen, I was there when it was cut free, and I cut the coil suspension mounts free from it.

The issue is that I must have run it dry, got too much water in it or something, and fucked the bearings up. I didn't hurt anything else, but all of the diff. bearings have to be replaced.

I am having issues finding a Master or Rebuild kit for it that isn't 150 bucks. This is the best that I have found:

http://shop.kmfoffroad.com/Dana-44-I...Kit-IKD44I.htm

I know that 2nd Gen has the retarded pinion so I can't use a regular 44 kit.

Do you Isuzu guys have some secret website to find this crap on? I can never find the right parts for this dumb thing.

For reference Advance Auto, Napa, Rock Auto and Randy's show the rear end has either a GM 7.5-7.6" ring gear, or a GM 8.625 ring gear (10 Bolt) for all of the 2nd gen that I have found so far.

If anybody has links or Part Numbers, I would really rather just buy the kit than each individual bearing, but whatever, I am just about ready to cut the whole thing free, weld on some perches, slap some xj leaves and a Waggy 44 under it and call it a day.

rear diff

Try Jerry Lemond (jlemond@bellsouth.net or 770-962-0551). I have problems finding the right parts for my 2000 Trooper rear diff (it's not what it says it is) Jerry figured it out and got the right parts. DAVE

I ordered the part from KMF, but I'm unimpressed with shipping at this time.

Have you counted the ring and pinion to verify 4:56?
Most 4cyl had 4:77 gears

This is why i didn't post in newbie. Yes. If it wasn't 4.56 my front end would have blown up a long time ago. I read so many posts explaining how isuzu never put 4.56 in a d44, but I have a isuzu D44 with stock 4.56 gears. I have pictures to prove it if anybody really wants to challenge me on it.

Also, the isuzu guys can keep their parts, I sure as hell learned my lesson about using them.

Build date of 97 because it is model year 98. I personally cut the coil spring suspension brackets off myself.

Edit: I was going to resize them, but fuckit.
