On my stretch build I'm not doing it to off road it and beat on it on the trails. I aready have two of those! My intention for this truck is to drive it on the street wether they be icy or wet and tow it behind my Motorhome. The reason for the stretch will be to be able to carry my motorcycle and the wifes scooter in the bed. The Grandkids will be most of my passengers. This is what I have envisioned it will look like. ![]() I've spent a lot to time drilling out spot welds on this body already. I've decided to use the Isuzu Pickup rear window even though it's too long. I can cut about 2 inches out of the center and spot weld the aluminum frame back together to make it fit around a custom rear frame. I have two of these pickup windows so if I mess one up I can still make it work. You'll notice the rear cap has been moved up already and tacked on. ![]() Here's the back half of the 2 door that will be the bed of this rig. The Roll Bars will come off of course! ![]() If all goes as planned it will have a 3.0L TD with a brand spanking new MUA5 that will include Tera Lows that I have sitting in it's crate. (I did remove it to install the Tera Lows.) Like I said earlier, I have all the parts other than the engine to do this project. I've even set my shop up with a frame jig to do this stretch by myself. (I don't work well with others I guess!!!!! )Just need some time now.

Actually not a lot. But in my defense I got into Adventure Motorcycles a few years ago and have been building parts for those. Even started selling some of the stuff I make. Been lots of fun building them for me and my friends and my Isuzu's has just been waiting patiently for me to get back to them. To many places to ride my bikes. Even going to Moab this summer on one with some friends.

255/85r16 km2's on 16x7 wagons with 4" backspace. They are actually taller then the 285/75r16's on my diesel in the background
no spacers they measure right around 33" tall and about 9.5 wide on the tread 10.5 for the whole tire Last edited by younggunmarshall; 03-18-2012 at 02:01 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll have to try and get some good action shots next time I go wheeling with someone other than me! Thanks for looking. Last edited by younggunmarshall; 03-25-2012 at 05:20 PM. |

After pulling the 4.3 and stuffing in a junkyard 350 while I freshen up the 4.3, upgraded tires from 36inch swampers to 38.5 boggers.

Here is a project I found. Gotta find a key or else put another igniton switch in it, they lost the key. Probably gonna have to swap in a motor.
