did that...why does it only allow me to upload a dinky ass photo???? I thought my pics were already dinky enough and it wants em so damn small no one will be able to see without a magnifying glass...did I get ripped off for my $20???? I swear someone is bucking for that early retirement!!!

ok...here is my attempt.

these pics are only 600x400 still small..only other choice I had was 300x200 and that was magnifying glass size. This is too hard for paying $$ to post pics
and put up with peoples' shit and assholes too.

i never had a problem posting pics w/o the star. it was a pain in the ass to upload them to a hosting site, but it was fine. I bought the star to support the board and as a 'thanks' for all the info i have gained/will gain. The admins of this site use the money to keep it running well. I doubt they are getting rich from the 20 bucks. They are getting rich from the advertising

anyway, I get to enter the giveaways and an avatar and all that bs, but if you don't really enjoy and use the site much, maybe a star wasn't the right choice for you yet.

Enough of this cluttering up the pics page!

...

well for one thing when I had to pay and get the star I went to upload images and manage attachments. It would not just upload the damn pics. I had to upload the pics to Pirate on a post, submit that post, go back edit that post, click on advanced, then do some programing to link the links I uploaded to pirate on that post to show up as they should have by uploading them in the first place by paying the $20.

Far from "EASY" when suposedly it should be just point and click for $20.

Thought I had better add mine in with everyone elses... does anyone read this?

Its a '96 Gen II MU (Amigo for you American types ) with a 3.1 turbo diesel donk and MUA5 5-speed and single boring T/C. Front suspension is Hilux (Toyota Mini-Truck) rear leafs, and rear is 50mm lifted standard Isuzus sprung over an IFS Toy rear axle... 4.88 Diffs, high pinion toy in a toy axle in the front. Lots of other custom bits... work in progress... see the buildup doc for what I have done

Anyway, there is a link to the buildup here and the before and after pics:

Cheers dude, yeah, its a length of 50x75 (2"x3") 3mm wall (god knows... 1/8" ?) box section with some 5mm (3/16" ?) plate ends. Just notched slightly in behind to fit around the front body mounts, and the factory bumper mounts have been cut to fit the tyres during steering.

One problem with it is bump-steer... I need to fit a forward-facing pitman arm box of some type, possibly a Nissan Patrol one or a 60-series Cruiser... You guys have those scout boxes over there which seem quite popular, but I don't think we have anything like that here.

Rhino Lined VX

http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/sh...at=3154&page=1

my Rhino LIned VX. Some kids ran into the side of me going 65 mph down the freeway. I decided instead of wasting the insurance check to spend on fixing the paint and dents at the body shop myself, that I would just fix the dents my self and Rhino it then use the leftover cash on the loan balance.

Much more practical use. I figure my paint would have been left behind on the trail(or on some kids car on the freeway) anyways.

my older brothers trooper:

it's got about 3" suspension lift and 35's on 15x10's. warn hubs, centerforce clutch, rancho shocks, trashed rear center bearing of course and a 2.8 that needs to be swapped out.

the front grill guard I think started life as some toyota dealer option brush guard. its welded to the frame and is pretty stout (and yeah I think he decided to take the chain off ). the rear bumper began as two side rails for one of the toyota suvs lol. if you haven't guessed, he works for toyota. the skull on the hitch ball is fun for scaring soccer moms and old people. the jaw chatters up and down when you go down the road and every once in a while one the teeth go flying off. what you can't see is the herc'ed interior. he is thinking of doing the lower half of the body and the fenders in herc too, to match the black roof.
