Thumbs up blazin a new trail?

So i have a parts chevy luv(isuzu KB) and a chevy 250 inline six. Well what do you know my mind got thinking. Im going to use the loer half of the body and make a cage over it and pull all the other body pannels (ill inclose the motor whith the cage too) and ill move the cab back 3" so i can clear the inline six and run rear mounted radiators whith electric fans. My biggest question is how to go about the cage. I can do everything else (fabrication and drive train swaps) but i have no experience whith making a cage. So what do you think of my idea, oh yeah why? Becouse i can and small blocks are too easy

well by blazing a new trail i meant the inline six swap, i havent heard of anyone swaping an inline six into a KB/LUV before. And wht type of tube should i use is what i realy need to know, and maybe if someone could post pics of designs of cages so i have something to work from. Sorry im realy new to the buggy idea and have no idea about designing cages and the like.

D.O.M. (Drawn Over Mandrel) would be top of the line as far as strength is concerned............also the most expensive.

2nd would be a mild steel tube like HREW or CREW (Hot or Cold Rolles Electric Welded)

a search will yeild all the infor (and More) that you would ever want to know about cages.......it all been discussed on the PBB

remember to TRIANGULATE (make triangles) and NODE (connect multiple tubes at a ssingle junction) the tubing
