v-6 upgrades?

I have a 3.2 v-6 laying around. Has anyone tried decking the block and shaving the heads to up the comp on these? How about regrinding the cams? I need to weigh it and find out if I can get some power for a lightweight comp engine.
ravenracing.net CHASSIS..... Thanks to BFG, MOSER ENG., ALLIED racing wheels, Ram Offroad, SUMMIT, Ready Welder and The Avalanche Ranch for putting the fun back in Rockcrawlin.

There is a guy over on the 4x4Wire Isuzu boards that had his cams reground by Delta Cams (Tacoma, Wa). I don't think he ever got it running again. I believe it bolted up, but there was a bottom end problem that caused him to just drop in a new motor.

I am sure if you pop over there, he will surface (and may be willing to sell the cams/heads).

Good Luck,
