I have a 90 Amigo that I will lift as soon as I give Matt at
http://www.independent4x.com some money. I also have a 94 passport that has Dana 44 rear with limited slip that I will swap into it also.I took apart the front 10 bolt and made sure all looks good for a ARB locker, while I have it apart I want to replace the boots.I went to 2 places on the web and noticed diff prices for the boots on both Isuzus. Are the axles heaver duty on the passport?Besides the auto/manual hubs, all looks the same, should be a easy swap. |

the amigo, rodeo, passport, and early troopers all use the same front suspension parts and CV joints. the rodeo and passport are the same vehicle mechanically and the amigos are very very similar. Why are you swapping in the D44? if you have a 90 amigo you have the isuzu 12 bolt, which IMHO is stronger. only down side is locker availability (ARB only).
