'95 Engine noise, not hardcore question
I tried 4x4wire, search features SUCK!
I've heard of the persistent lifter noises in the earlier 75deg V-6s, but mine's gotten appreciably louder recently and I'm fearing the worst. Anyone have related experiences to share? |

Sorry .... no personal knowledge. But it seems that 0w-30 Mobil 1 cures the tick.

First try the 0w-30 Mobil 1 Syn.
That cured my ticking, and it seems to come back just before the 5k oil change. But I never did have a real bad lifter noise. If that don't work try some Sea Foam, I have heard some people have succes with it. Last get the lifters reground... Otherwise sounds like you have a volunteer for a V8 swap Theres my only $0.02 Scott F.
