Just install them on my truck. The Westinn brackets were very solid but the frame mounts on my truck are very flimsy! They probably vibrate hard while i am driving and making all the crazy noises, specially the front brackets ereas. I was thinking of spot weld the bracket to the X frame themself.Anyone experience this? ANY IDEA?
Also, my truck has 19000 miles now, I read a bunch of threads about using 0-30W Mobil1. I was just wondering should I switch to it now or??? Is Mobil1 it better for the eng?

ok............when properly installed...........bars should not rattle, and the frame is not "flimsy" compared to a 10 guage westin nerf bar

as far as motor oil.................

you have a new truck......run what the motor calls for. check the owner's manual or your dealer's service tech.

I'm wondering if those westin bars mount to the body like the factory SIDE STEPS. BTW, nerfs protect your rockers, side steps just get bent up.
