Good find?
Alright while cruisin the car sales adds tonight i found one that cought my attention. 87 Trooper 2door 4x4 for $300. Do you think it would be worth it? It just says it runs, drives and stops. What motors did this yeah have?

87 is a split year.
the early 87's are really 86's.......they have a drum break rear 10 bolt isuzu axle and an 8 bolt front. if it is a later 87.........with 12 bolt disk brake rear and 10 bolt front.....then it is a very good deal. they usually have the carborated 2.3L 4cyl........at leat the 87 i had did. Not as good as the Fuel injected 2.6L that started in 88. all in all $300...................if it runs........yeah it's a good deal  and you could swap the stuff into your LUV

no im looking for another little ZU for a daily driver whith more room. And besides i already have a spare running gear for my 80 luv out of my 78

One more thing. Will the bell housing bolt patern be the same on this motor as it is for a 2.2L diesel? I was just wondering becouse i can get one of these realy easy and it would make more sense for a daily driver i think.

A two door trooper with sound body is in my mind a good deal.
