Aussie locker

recently sent a pm to aussielocker about aussie making a locker for the 'zu diffs. here's what I got:

Paul,

Yes, we are seeing a lot of email from Isuzu owners on this subject. Lock Right used to make a model for the Isuzu, but for some reason discontinued it. That is normally a sign of low sales, but they might have had the wrong model, who knows with those guys.

I have raised the question with our Australian engineers and they are quite familar with the vehicle and diffs. They will be taking a look at it, but given their backlog right now, it will be Jan. or Feb. before they can give it the time a new model evaluation requires.

We really do appreciate your interest in our Aussie Locker and we shall see what the technical gurus tell us.

Bill

Eh, it's a start.

Hell, maybe there'll be one by the time I get another troop!

Yep sounds pretty good. Here's the reply I got back from them a while back.........

"We have had a lot of email about the Isuzu product line and we are going to be taking a look at the issues in developing a locker. It is a very expensive engineering and manufacturing process to get a new locker from concept to installation in customers vehicles and if we do not see any major technical issues and feel that the market justifies the expenditure, we will certainly go to the next step in engineering. We appreciate your interest in the Aussie Locker."

I'd sure love to see them build one for the 12 bolt!! I think that hearing from all of us will be one thing that might help bring it into production. KnowWhutIMean!!??

SWEET! I've been reading about the Aussie Lockers and they seem like a great deal. Good price and great performance. Great option for cheap bastards like myself

I have also e-mailed them with a similar reply. So hopefully if there seems to be enough interest(hint, nudge) they will make one.
