Trooper IFS parts question
Hey isuzu guys, I'm usually floating about this board generally in the toy forum but thought I would stop in here for a second. Never really dealt with Isuzu's before and a buddy of mine gave me a complete IFS setup out of his 1990 Trooper (did an SAS swap). What I was wondering is if any of these parts are really worth anything. I imagine maybe someone would like the front third or perhaps maybe the CV shafts, but not sure. Sorry this isn't much tech but would appreciate some input on this matter.

well if everything is in good shape, you can sell the tie-rods, cv's, balljoints, and wear and tear stuff to folks who need spares. discs and calipers probably too. folks woth 2nd gen rodeo's, amigo's, and such might want the front 3rd (its probably 4.555:1). check it and see if its 4.77:1 and if it is, you'll be able to get rid of it easy.
hth paul

Thanks Paul, yeah the front third is a 4.56 so we'll see how that sells, as far as the other stuff I need to get a bigger impact wrench to get off the disc brake calipers, they won't budge! Thanks for the input

Not only that, he was giving away the entire set up and was not going to part it out for anybody. I'm sure if he parted it out he would like some cash in return for his labor. Glad you're observant now move on to the intelligence fawker

Uh, I won't be needing any of those parts.
Frame is whacked, front end is whacked (can be straightened, just tired of dumping $$$ into this one). Anybody wanna buy a '90 Trooper with a souped up 3.4L, 3" lift, 33's, and a slight limp on the front left paw???? Or anyone have a hull I can put my motor in? lolllll
