Alrightry my f-150 is ging into storage for a while so i now have a set of 33x10.50 TSL radials that will just be sitting and a trooper in need of good tires...
So heres my idea, swap the TSLs onto the troopers wheels and run it. My question is not will they clear the body (ill fix it if it doesnt, sheetmetal is the devil!). My question is will the 33x10.50s go on a stock trooper wheel and be 100% runnable on the street and everything, i wont have to worry about airing down becouse i dont do alot of extreme stuff in the trooper. Thanks for the imput.

I'm running 31x10.50 on my stock steelies right now without a hitch. I think width wise you'd be fine. How do you like those tires? I'm trying to get a set in that very flavor.

they do perty well realy. I got the 10.50 for my f-150 so they wouldnt rub whith out a lift. For general trail stuff they do vary well. When i took my f-150 to the mud races they dug a bit much for my liking, but on a truck thats a fair bit lighter they should perform alot better (but bear in mind this was a bottomless pit of stuff that was about like concrete mix...)

I think it depends on what wheels you have. The 6" steelie would probably allow the tire to make some minor contact w/frame up front under full steering lock. If you have the 7" alloys then I believe you shouldn't have a problem. Here is a pic of the same set up and I was told it worked well with minimal, if any at all, rubbing:

alrighty im not worried about clearance issues, im just worried about the tires going onto the wheels. They are steel ones so they are 15x6, right?

10.50 series tires on 15x7 rims would be better, but you will be fine with the 15x6s. Just initially spend some time finding a good PSI to run them at. Tons of Isuzu guys run 12.50 series tires on 15x8 wheels, so ratio-wise you'll be somewhere between them and the stock 31x10.50 on 15x7 setup.

well i have decided that new steel wheels isnt that big a deal, so ill probly get 15x8s (wich is what Interco recomends) becouse this rig will be the daily driver. Thanks for the help guys

15x8's are a good idea because if/when you upgrade you wont have to change them (all the way up too really wide tires). a 15x7 might work better to keep em from blowing the bead at low psi, but i ran 33x10.50s on 8's with no prob on my old rig.

well i vary rarely run low presure. I am running the 33s on 15x8s on my f-150 right now and they are just fine. I was able to get a set of used steelies from the tire shop for $40 for the set so im good
