that thing looks awesome.
a few questions:
did they ever make a 2nd gen RS in the 'States?
And, why do all the other countries get cool troopers?
LOL (as i remember the international troopers thread)

So am I to understand that the radius arms and brackets are just a simple combination of mass-produced aftermarket parts......... and they fit the Trooper that perfectly? Because it wouldn't be too hard to get some measurements and make copies for a much lower cost

When the time comes to SAS the Amigo, I wanted coils but had pretty much settled on leaves for lack of experience building a link set-up. But copying a radius arm design...... I could probably pull that off with some research and practice

i'd have to go back and look at my notes, but basically those are TJ coils up front like 4" or 6" lift maybe and the radius arm kit is for a ford ranger.

the mounts and brackets are fabbed. I mean you could certianly "copy" but really this stuff is not all that expensive, and looks like it works pretty well together. it would probably end up cleaner to just buy the junk and have a good springboard to work from, at least that way you have some of the peramiters set. you just have to think of your fab skills...........the time and cost of materials makes the "off the shelf" stuff pretty attractive for the 1st timer.

just some food for thought.

Well, I have done a gas tank lift, made 1/4" plate brackets to relocate the front bumper after a BL, done rock sliders, and made my own rear bumper w/ integrated hitch tube...... so I know I could easily handle making the mounts and brackets myself.

Hadn't really thought about material costs.... you are probably right. That is actually what led to me making the rear bumper; when I bought the 2x4x3/16" tube for the rock sliders, I had to buy the entire 24' piece. I have gobs of 1/4" and 3/16" plate, angle iron, and 2x2x1/4" tube laying around that I got for free from a friend that works at a tank fab shop. What they consider scrap is more than big enough for most of our projects. Since I don't have any round stock, it may not be much more to just buy the radius arms.

Hey, you're not hurting my feelings any. I appreciate the insight
