ummm... same goodies as you would put on any truck before 'wheeling it.
Just don't be an ass and beat the crap out of it just because "it's only an isuzu, who cares?" - have some pride in your ride or sell it to someone who will.

Hey Man,
Well are you just trying to get ideas in general or do have a basic idea with what you want to run? Try telling us at what you are going for. Do you want to go krazy with a full cage solid axle swap etc. Or are you looking at keeping it close to stock ? Maybe there is a middle ground. Either just give us a starting point. - Jason

throw an ARB in the rear and some Rocker Bars on it, a set of MT's 32" + and go wheeling
up the anty with a Low 3.07 t-case kit and have more fun add a cage inside to protect your Mellon throw a D44 uner the front ........re-gear the f/back to 5.38............add some 35"s or 37's and have even more fun welcome!

Is guess I reall did screwup in math class....... 'cause to me jus' weld up the front/rear 1 ton junk, throw in another t-case and then wheel the hell out of it, oops I guess that's the next, next, next step ....... ![]() do what trooperrs said and have a ball, follow the heeps etc.....then worry about what to do next. That fella' (TrooperRs) might even do you good on some parts,to make your Isuzu a little more trail ready |

Ok... actually found its 2wd... but with the ideas i have... it wouldnt matter. Engine swap.. chry318/360, ford 302 or chevy 350... course manual tranny and xfer case.. solid axles front and rear.. figger becuse of weight i'll stay around 3.73 gearing.. get the lift up to clear 35's, unless i should go 33's because of the size of the rig.. i am thinking od getting some old jeep axles to start with... then i can swap later when i need something alittle more massive... or if i make it strictly a crawler..
Think i'll name it SuperZu Am i crazy? if so then thats even more a reason lol! |
