So again based on your findings in the interest of definitive tech:

Problem: I need to re-gear my PITA 98+ Isuzu rodeo rear axle and I need to know what kind of gear set to use.
Solution: Use a Non-Rubi JK D44 gearset, which is also the answer for wheel bearings, wheel seals, and lunchbox lockers.

Problem: But the pinion splines aren't the same!!!1!!11!
Solution: Use the JK pinion flange, which uses the same flange bolt circle as the Isuzu anyway

Did I capture this correctly?

I'd like to have a part # and correct description for that flange but it does indeed fit the bill dimensionally .. Keep in mind these are out of 07 and later jeep Jk's , bearing kits could go either way between jeep and Isuzu ... Spicer has all this information about what crosses over between makes and models , they just don't give it out , it's like Area 51 information ..

I had a little trouble finding the correct pinion seal for the Isuzu Dana 44 as well , finally my parts guy pulled one off the shelf for a standard 44 and it's a perfect match !!

Bearing numbers for the pinion are as follows

Small pinion bearing # timken m88048
Race is part # m88010

Big bearing for pinion part #m802048
Big race part #m802011

The pinion seal part # 9316 also in timken brand ...

Anyone have a source for the ABS/VSS tone ring for the carrier? Or know the tooth count?
