I'm confused.
What's the spectrum of this forum?
Is it XJ tech from stock to as far as anyone has taken it? Should we be expecting mixed questions about 2" BB lifts, and 4-linked coiled rears with entirely rebuilt "frames"? I'm not sure why the forum was just divided this way (perhaps something to do with the latest Jeepspeed trend), but I don't think it'll really help things at all. Especially with the vast amount of XJ information already in both the 'hardcore' and 'newbie' forums. Not trying to be an ass, just wondering.

I think it's going to end up as "hardcore" as the users allow it to be. If the users respond to the "how much lift to fit 30's" questions, then this will end up like NAXJA's little sister. If the users can remember that this is an "Extreme rockcrawling" board and weed out the trivial BS, I think it will be valuable.

I am down, Give the newbies hell and send them to newbie tech.
I dont think the XJ forum is really needed.

Some of you guys would bitch about finding a 10lb sack of hundred dollar bills
Instead of trying to figure out how this forum is going to go wrong, why can't we just let it be used and sort itself out. The mods haven't set any "no flaming", or "keep it hardcore" rules. Right now it appears to be a Generalized Cherokee, yes grands included forum. Cliff Notes: Quit your bitchin!

You can fit 30's without a lift, but you'll have to remove the fender flares and trim the dog shit out of it.........and you'll have to do something about the steering angles because the tires will give you some lift.
