My thought would go full width and use the T&T Custom front truss

3/8"x3" flat bar and a 1/4" tie in to the casting. Welded with Ni-99 of course.

Tied into the coil bucket on the driver's side...

Start of the upper mount gusseting.

Shouldn't go anywhere...

And it hasnt. just the bushing has failed me twice. I'll be replacing it with a solid flex joint or heim in a few months.

So you used 3/4"x4" plate for the over axle link mount, what are you plans for building a truss?

Not as elaboarate as most but here is what we did for the front double triangulated 4-link on my ZJ.

Changed and re gussted the mounts after this break at TDS not this year but last year.

New mounts after break.

If I were to do it again (which will happen when the new front end gets built), I will use 1 piece from knuckle to knuckle and make it out of dimple died sheet metal. This axle I built in kind of a rush sadly.
