ZJ Build

Here are some pics from my ZJ build. It has gone threw some drastics changes as of late. I am working on all 4 half doors. Made a custom belly skid and crossmember.

Here are some quick specs.

double triangulated 4-link front and rear
dodge d60 front
dodge d70 rear.
16" swayaways on all four corners
full interior cage.
5.86 yukon gears with ARBS

and a shit load more stuff.

Plans in the near future are 42" IROK,s, finish my half doors, lower the rig another 4", atlas II, front swaybar setup, I want to also setup some sort of airbag setup for force articulation and leveling. I have been looking at some products from Universal Air Suspension but they do not have an application for 2.5" CO's yet. Here are a few pics.

I like your ZJ. Nice fab work, keep us posted on any updates.

Hell, post up some details and more pics. A build thread would be sweet too.

what size are the current boggers on there? looks real good, it may sit kinda high, but it looks like it still stays pretty stable in the dirt.....

Thanks for the compliments. When we did the cage it still had doors and what not and I did not bring the cage into the front hoops yet. However the front hoops are tied together. Now that I have cut the doors I want to go threw the dash and tie the cage into the front hoops. and gusset the front unibody more. So that is on my todo list.

As for the doors. I just got back from moab and haven't had a chance to start working on them since. I need to change my design a bit for the door latch to work properly. I need to add a latch to open them. The inside of the doors is nothing special yet. Basically just what it looks like with panels off. I haven't really thought that far ahead yet, I will do something once I get the tops on all the doors and the latches working right.

As for it being stable, I haven't rolled it yet. Knock on wood. But it could be a little lower and trim a little to fit the 42" IROKS. I am currently running 38.5" boggers on 16" rims.

Kevin

It is nice to hear from you. Definately have to get together. We will be running Fordyce in Sept. if you are interested. I will PM you with the details. If not lets get out to Truckhaven or Johnson Valley.

I do but it has changed allot since my intial build. Let me see if I can dig up some pics. I am still not happy however. I want to lower the rig even more. I am now running into issues with where I have located my uppers.
