New jeep

My wife just got a 95 cherkee. I have not look into other than when we first looked it over to buy. the oil gauage is stuck to the far right. Is this an isu with the jeeps are just a falty sinser are guage? And are there any other issues i need to look for on this proticuler jeep. its a 95 sport?

You might want to see if it is has spell check and the move it to the newbie jeep forum were it belongs...

Just buy a new sender and delete this tread....

The gauge stuck to the far right means you have a blockage somewhere in the oil passage after the sender.

By the time it gets to the point where you see the gauge like that, chances are the top end of the motor is already starved of oil and dead, and I've never seen one last more than 500 miles after that happens.

The senders on XJ's go back at an alarming rate. Just get a new one and report back with the findings.
