here's the deal.... i've been thinkin about upgrading my axles for a while now. a buddy of mine has a set of axles from under his 99 Ram 1500. a D44 DS drop and a 9.25 chrystler in the rear. geared 4.10 and both locked. he's gonna cut me a good deal in them if i want them, he's going 1-tons. the rear is no big deal, done similar things before..... the front, uses a 4-link system thats similar to the XJ. what do you guys think??? can i just build some wider lower control arms? do i need to grind off all the front brackets and put on a set of XJ/TJ brackets??? its a CAD axle, but ii'm pretty sure i can just slip in a long side axle shaft from an older D44 considering it uses the same locker as the older D44's.... i did the locker install, and i'im re-gearing and locking his D60/D70 setup so the price on these will be right!

You would have to completely strip that axle and then figure out how to widen your spring mounts. I believe the dodge springs are ~41" on center and jeep is ~36"

For a 44 front and a ok rear axle I would pass unless you are just overly amazed by the setups.

It's also a low pinion set-up.

And a center axle disconnect as well? Or is that just the D60's?

CAD- central axle disconnect

the front is hardly worth it unless you are getting it for free

alright then..... guess i'll just take the $$ for setting up his axles and put that twards lockers for my 8.25 and some new shocks.... thanks for the info!

Or some real axles, like a HP D44 front and D60 rear
