stock spring, flipped arround?

thats what this is, but I then moved it back 1.5" forward so I wouldn't have to cut into the fuel door

This shackle fold twice into itself...They picked up one of the rear tires 55" up with a forklift...The 3 other tires were still firmly on the ground and the Jeep sat pretty level!!!...Would'nt have believed it if I did'nt see it!!!

Ok, so its got a pivoting and what looks like a sliding spring perch (with the blocks welded in between the spring perch plates there is no way they are clamping the spring tight), with shackles that fold in on them selves twice, can drop a rear tire 55", and a single ladder style traction bar. What the hell locates this axle??? If it can lift a rear tire 55", its got to be rear steering so bad that it doesnt need 4 wheel steering to turn. I just nees some splainin to.
