You know, this is a funny thread and all but I really think it's an invitation of sorts that won't (shouldn't) end well.

I mean, I can see preserving the other thread but designating one for the dee dee dee's doesn't do much for the board IMO.

Hmm.

Here's mine in June 2003. I bought it in January '00 and it was a Florida truck originally 2wd from the factory. Two wheel drive, 5-speed, AM/FM radio only, manual (non-vent) windows, manual seats. I dunno if it gets more not bad ass than that.

My first XJ and what my current XJ used to look like.

I look back on our wheeling pictures and just shake my head. Walking most of the day because we were spotting for rocks that are only a foot tall.

Now we just bash the shit out of our stuff and don't care.

Oh how far we have come....

I have a really ugly one that was given to me. I am in the process of getting it running after cleaning the fuel system. I broke my camera taking a pic though. I am going to sand it and paint it OD green, lift it, and get some bushwacker flares. Then maybe it wont break the camera. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow.

Mine belongs here, it's definately far from bad ass.

And a short video of me trying an obstacle called boatramp at Choccolocco Mtn. The POS couldn't even make it all the way over the first step.

Vette and I posted what ours looked like years ago. We are not here to get back at the non-hardcore guys. Ashman is just giving you guys a place to show your stuff.

Give it time. You will get sick of breaking axle shafts and driving with a light foot. I know I did.

Bought this about 6 weeks ago and it's moved maybe once since. Until I get my car sold it's a lawn decoration. 6" Full Traction lift, 33's, open diffs, wicked front vibes, stock gearing . Hopefully I'll get to mess around with it soon.

1990jeepxj: when did you take that 3rd picture? I was stationed in San Diego, and got the offroading bug out there... That 3rd picture looks like a place just east of SD, can't remember the name, but it burned in '05 i think, and was wondering if it was reopened, or if that's an old picture.
