No xj work but I helped a buddy work on his 67 scout 800 today

Short 44 6 lug out
Full size 44 8 lug in (it's has all time lock flanges and the good knuckles to make high steer)

I will getting a 14B for the rear tomorrow

if you are looking for heads still, why not get some stock vortec heads and have them redone, way better than tbi heads and probably cheaper than a new set of tbi replacemnet heads.

I'm not sure if the TBI intake will work with the vortec heads and the shop already has the no cast heads and no cost to me

Thanks for the post and the info I might pick up at set of vortecs anyways if I see some at pick n' pull tomorrow but I did see a few np205's and a few high steer 44's.. no D60's

That would be awesome! I could copy it and make more at my cuz's shop! And yeah I think I'm going to look for a 14B for my xj with 4:10 gears at pick n pull next time I go.. Or a 70.. Or even 80.. I was told there r some single wheel Dana 80's out the but I have not done the research

Your fucken crazy man lol!! Dana 80s are fucken Huge!!! go with a flat bottom 70 if you can they have a little more ground clearance than a 14 bolt. Their both 1 1/2 shafts but the 70 is 35 spline and the 14 bolts are 30 spline.

That I don't know but here is my Dana 70 disk conversion bracket maybe you can figure it out with these pics. I think most 70s have bigger axle tubes. I measured 5" across on mounting bolt holes and 7" on the caliper mounting holes. Hope this helps. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1303445586.679629.jpg

Got a D60-IUS today for free! It's a flat bottom, 3.5" tube, Didn't open it up yet but I think it is a 32 spline and I know it's better than my pos 16 spline 60!

I know you don't need it now, but D80's can be found in SRW Dodge's. I had 1 in my '01 Ram 2500 w/HO CTD/6 speed. Sweet build so far.

I have ran into a problem that need a little in-put..

As I burned in my front frame plating and fish plates I think I bent the hell out of my frame!!

my temporary front crossmember must have not held up and let the frame rails suck in.. How much I don't know but the top radiator bracket will is to long to fit now.. So what I need is some one to look at their xj and see what the ID on the frame rails are, so I canPort-a-power the farme back out!!

If anyone could give me how wide from inside to inside their frame is right under their radiator with be a great help!!
